Day 365 – Poinsettias
I decided to finish where I started, with a picture of poinsettias. It has been a wonderful project that has been at times a burden, but most of all a joy to do. I have learned so much. Most of it is hard to put into words.
I would like to thank my mother, Grandma Meg, to those of you who have followed my posts. She has commented on almost every one of my pictures. The times she missed have when she was not able to make a connection to the Internet. Thank you so much for your words of encouragement.
A shout-out also goes to Sasi, a fellow Project-365er. His comments have been supportive and instructive. I have taken his suggestions and gone back to a few of my pictures and made the recommended tweaks. His suggestions have made a good picture pop. Sasi, thanks again for your support.
To the rest of my followers, all half-dozen or so of you, I hope you enjoyed watching my skills grow. I certainly enjoyed the ride.
Finally to my son, Noah. Thank you for rekindling my interest in photography. I am beginning to think artistry, like insanity, is indeed inherited… you get it from your kids.

You’re right about the artistry thing. I’m getting this niggling desire to be more serious about photography!
It’s been my joy and pleasure to follow you every day. Your pictures have touched my heart, warming it at the same time. I’m SO proud of the work you did here. I’m delighted to be CEO of your fan club.
Oh, yes, and by the way, the flowers here are lovely, dear Flower Child. I’m looking forward to whatever comes next. In the meantime, I’m really going to miss these pictures.
Lovely shot of Poinsettias, Mac. A colorful way to end your project and congrats on making it through.
I loved viewing your photo posts and wants me to visit those places you had shot. Thanks for taking time to comment on my blog posts and I am glad my comments were helpful.
Wish you all the luck and may this new year bring bliss and peace!
